Scholarship Opportunity for Seniors

The NHS Scholarship application opens October 1! This year, 600 of the most outstanding NHS seniors will be selected for $2 million in funding, with one national winner receiving a $25,000 scholarship.

Add these calendar reminders to help you and your students stay on track with their applications:

• NHS Scholarship Application process opens: Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 9 a.m. (ET)

• NHS Scholarship Deadline: Tuesday, December 1 at 5 p.m. (ET).

• Award Selection Notification: April 2021

• Scholarship acceptance or deferral request deadline: July 1, 2021

• Scholarship Disbursement: Checks are mailed in early August 2021.

A recommendation from the principal, an adviser, and one additional faculty member is required for each application (all recommendations are submitted online).
