Students should be responsible:
Social distance at all times. Masks are required and must be worn over the nose and mouth.
Stay at your seat and do not touch surfaces and objects in the classroom.
If you are coughing or sneezing, you should leave the room immediately. Do not ask for permission.
Students should be ready to learn:
Be online and ready to learn when Zoom Class begins.
Have materials and homework out and ready.
Sharpen pencils, use the restroom, and get water BEFORE you log on.
Students should be respectful:
Listen quietly when others are speaking.
Be respectful to all classmates and visitors.
No eating during class. Drinking water is ok.
Consequences:
Verbal, email, or text warning
Dismissal from class (student is held responsible for work that is missed)
Phone call/email home
Referral to administration
Makeup work, retesting, and attendance:
Make-up tests and quizzes should be taken within ten days of the original exam/quiz date.
Please schedule your make-up with me immediately upon your return.
Classwork and homework are due the next class period following an absence. It is the student’s responsibility to obtain any missed work as soon as possible. Failure to obtain assignments does not excuse you from tests, quizzes, or due dates.
Retesting: Students who make under a 79% on a test or formal assessment will have the opportunity to retest. Students must complete the assigned intervention before retest occurs. The highest grade possible on a retest is a 79% per CMS policy and must be completed ten (10) days of test scores being posted.
The highest grade on any late work turned in after 5 days will be 60%.
Any student who misses more than 3 days of class in a row will be referred to admin and I will call home. Students who miss more than 10 class periods and do not complete recovery work will fail the course.
