Joined the JROTC team immediately after retiring from the United States Army Ordnance Corps and was given the privilege to serve as a Military Science Instructor at UNC-Charlotte and Gardner Webb University which prepared me to introduce, reinforce, and set standards in the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) classroom. 1SG DeVaughn earned a Bachelor's Degree in Management and Master's Degree in Education  from American Military University. SOLDIER FOR LIFE!!!
