Danielle Cuntapay, a proud North Carolinian, grew up outside the Raleigh area in Wake Forest. Passionate about music even as a child, she began her music studies on piano before moving onto violin and viola. In the Fall of 2020, Ms. Cuntapay graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education, a minor in Media Studies, and a Viola Performance Certificate. Ms. Cuntapay now serves as the Orchestra Director of Bailey and Francis Bradley Middle Schools.
As a member of NAfME (National Association for Music Education), NCMEA (North Carolina Music Educators Association), and ASTA (American String Teachers Association) Ms. Cuntapay is always working with other orchestra directors to learn new ideas to help benefit you student to become the best musician they can become.
Outside of school, Ms. Cuntapay enjoys cooking, photography, and spending time with family and her dog.
