6th Grade Counselor
7th Grade Counselor
8th Grade Counselor
Hi Everyone! Mrs. Payne here, back again for another great year at AG! I'm excited to work with my same kiddos as we all tackle the transition to 8th grade together! A little bit about me; I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and my master’s in Counseling from Georgia State University. Before coming to AG, I was a High School Counselor in CMS for 10 years. In my free time, I love watching Clemson football, Burn Boot Camp, Taylor Swift, and attempting HGTV(ish) home projects. My husband Hunter and I have a spunky four-year-old daughter, Logan, and a wild 7-month old, Hannah.
School Psychologist
504 Support Counselor
Mr. Busbee serves as the 504 Support Counselor at AG. While he will not handle all 504 plans, he will be the point of contact for new/initial 504 evaluations and a large majority of other plans across all three grade levels. Counselors, the Social Worker, and the School Psychologist will also serve as 504 Case Managers, each being in charge of a select number of student cases.
Data Manager
I have been with CMS since October 2023. My background was in Administration in the Telecommunications field and Property and Casualty insurance for the prior 10 years. I lived in New Jersey my entire life and moved to Charlotte to be closer to my family in September 2023. I have 3 beautiful children one of which attends AG! On my down time I love spending time with friends and family. Being surrounded by people you love and want the best for you is what is important. I also love cooking Dominican and Puerto Rican dishes. I love listening to all types of music, dancing and just being myself. I will always encourage others to be themselves to do what they enjoy, to be honest, to say the difficult things and most importantly to love yourself because everyone deserves happiness and it starts within.
