I am thrilled to be your child's teacher this year!

A little about me: This will be my sixth year at Sharon. I hold degree's in Elementary Education and Special Education from Grand Canyon University and am also certified to teach ESL(English as a second language), and trained in Orton Gillingham which is a multi-sensory , research based program for teaching reading and writing. I am Teaching Fellows Alumni, and current year grade level chairperson. In addition to teaching Kindergarten at Sharon Elementary, I have taught K-5 students in Special Education and ESL at Pinewood Elementary.

I believe we are all life long learners and know the important role Kindergarten plays in your child's educational journey. 

My family moved here from Arizona and our four children attended CMS and moved on to Clemson, UNC Chapel Hill, University of South Carolina, NC State, and Brody School of Medicine.

Our family has fostered over 80 animals for the  Humane Society over the years and currently we have a multitude of pets including cats, dogs, and a horse. Our family also enjoys traveling and scuba diving.
