Absences

We are excited to share an update to make reporting student absences easier and more convenient. Beginning Monday, September 22, 2025, families will receive notification in ParentSquare if your child is absent.  When you receive the notification, you will be able to simply click on the “Send Note to School” button and let us know why your child was absent.  This replaces our previous “Report an Absence” form on school websites.

Here’s how it works:

• If your child is marked absent or tardy, you will receive a message through ParentSquare.  

• You can reply directly in ParentSquare by clicking on “Send Note to School” with the reason for the absence—no need to use a separate form or platform.

• Once submitted, your school’s attendance staff will receive your note.  If approved, they will update your child’s attendance record in Infinite Campus.

• All notes are securely logged in ParentSquare, helping schools maintain accurate records.
