The club members visited Government School in Doddanekundi to teach the kids basic hygiene and hand-wash technique. It was conducted as a part of WINS Program.

Event Summary:

Key feature of the campaign is to ensure that schools in India have a set of functioning and well maintained water, sanitation and hygiene facilities. With this in mind, we decided to visit a Government School to teach children about hygiene, specifically washing hands. One of the members of the club explained the steps to the children in detail and made them practice it. Other than this, 4 students were appointed as Hygiene ambassadors of the school and given the badge for the same. Two Soap Dispensers were installed in the Hand-wash area.

         SPIRTUALITY IN ENGINEERING

The session was designed to introduce students to the significance of spirituality in both engineering practice and personal development. It emphasized how spiritual awareness, along with core human values and ethical principles, can guide individuals toward responsible and thoughtful innovation. The discussion highlighted that spirituality is not limited to religious beliefs, but includes self-awareness, compassion, integrity, and a sense of purpose. By cultivating these qualities, engineering professionals can make better decisions, handle challenges with emotional balance, and contribute to society in meaningful and sustainable ways. Ultimately, the session aimed to help participants recognize how spiritual grounding can enhance their professional growth, strengthen resilience, and support long-term career success.
