Prof. Dr. Vincent Correia is Professor of Public Law (Professeur agrégé des facultés de droit) at the University of Paris Saclay, France. He is a also visiting lecturer at the LL.M. Advanced Studies in Air and Space Law programme at Leiden University, Netherlands. His work is on public law and aviation law, with a focus on European Union external relations in the field of civil aviation and their interaction with international air law. Vincent Correia has published several articles and case commentaries on aviation law in English and French legal journals. He is the co-editor of the Revue Française de Droit Aérien et Spatial and he is member of the board of editors of the Air & Space Law, the Aviation and Space Journal and the European Journal of Consumer Law. Vincent is a member of the board of the European Air Law Association and of the Société Française de Droit Aérien et Spatial. He is also a member of the International Law Association.
Dr. Mario O. Folchi graduated as a Lawyer in 1960 and completed his Doctor in Law and Social Sciences in 1967 from the University of Buenos Aires. His Doctoral thesis “Aeronautical Offences; its existence and main problems” was awarded with the Recommendation to the “Faculty Award” for its high legal merits. He has been the President of the Latin American Association of Aeronautical and Space Law (ALADA) since 1977. He has been a consultant with the ICAO for drafting a new Aeronautical Code for the Republic of Paraguay (1992), for drafting a new Civil Aviation Law for the Republic of Peru (1997, 1999 and 2000) and for assisting the Argentine Civil Aviation Administration about several Legal matters. (2010-2011). Dr. Folchi has edited 15 books and more than 150 other papers, articles and reports to International Meetings and Law Reviews on Air Law, Air Transport, Aviation Policy and Tourism subjects. Most of them have been published in many Law Journals from different countries. Dr. Folchi won an International Contest to advise The Cabo Verde Republic (April 1999) on the modernization of the National Civil Aviation System and to draft an Aeronautical Code.
Hamza Hameed is a Pakistani lawyer currently working as a Legal Consultant at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) in Rome, Italy. His primary focus is on secured transactions law whereby he works on the Cape Town Convention and its Protocols. He is closely involved in the activities of the Cape Town Convention Academic Project and is the Manager for Fundraising and Administration at the UNIDROIT Foundation. He holds an LLB from the University of London International Programme and an Advanced LLM degree in Air and Space Law from the International Institute for Air and Space Law at Leiden University. He is also the Co-Lead of the Legal Team and the National Point of Contact for Pakistan at the Space Generation Advisory Council.
Patrick Honnebier is one of the few aircraft finance lawyers having obtained the benefits of both worlds. While he is a long-standing academic, he also has vast practical expertise in realising international aviation finance and lease transactions. The combination of extensive scholarly legal knowledge and its direct application in practice makes him a well-rounded aircraft finance lawyer. As an Instructor for the course Aircraft Acquisition and Financing, he joined the International Air Transport Association (IATA) in May 2019. Besides, Honnebier he is one of the founder-members of Rep Law Aviation and based in Amsterdam. He advises major manufacturers, banks, lessors and airlines in relation to international financing and leasing of aircraft, helicopters and engines. At the Master of Laws (LL.M.) in Air and Space Law program of the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), School of Law, he is the Professor of International Aviation Financing and Leasing Laws. As a guest lecturer, he addresses the conflict of laws rules covering aircraft finance transactions at Groningen University, the Netherlands. For many years, he instructed the students in international aircraft financing law at the International Institute of Air and Space Law, Leiden University. At Utrecht University and the University of Aruba he lectured on corporate and commercial law. Honnebier attended the Diplomatic Conference for the realization of the Convention on International Interest in Mobile Equipment and the Aircraft Equipment Protocol (Cape Town Convention, 2001). He was the expert legal counsel of the Governments of Aruba, the former Netherlands Antilles and the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs concerning the adoption by the Kingdom of the Netherlands of the Cape Town Convention in September, 2010. He advised the government of the Netherlands about the Dutch innovative implementation of the de-registration of aircraft (IDERA) provisions of the Cape Town Convention which enters into force on1 April 2020. He is the author of numerous articles being published in all the leading air law journals. He was Editor of Journal Luchtrecht/Netherlands Journal of Air Law until its demise. Frequently and worldwide he is a speaker at international aviation finance and lease conferences.
Ms. Koloshich is a scientific leader of Master Degree (Air services Logistics) in Belarusian State Academy of Aviation. She has participated in the research work of the Belarusian State Academy of Aviation, Belarusian Transport Research Institute "Transtechnika"; of the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus to study current issues in the field of international air law taking into account the requirements of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, the legislation of the European Union, the Eurasian Economic Union and their implementation national legislation of the Republic of Belarus. Ms. Koloshich has a certificate of internal auditor of the quality management system according to the international standard ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System Internal Auditor Training Course ISO 9001: 2015, April, 2015). She is the member of The European Air Law Association(EALA). Ms. Koloshich is the lead legal adviser of the Aeronautical Information Department of the BELAERONAVIGATSIA Republican Unitary Air Navigation Services Enterprise (Belarus, Minsk).
Anna is a tenured Professor of Air Law, University of Bologna, Italy State University. Since 2006 Anna has been involved in the Galileo and EGNOS programmes and she is very active in the development of the main Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS). She co-drafted a proposed EU legislation for Third Party Liability (TPL) for the Galileo satellite programme for the Italian Government and a feasibility study on an international convention regarding GNSS, presented by the Italian Government to the European Commission and to the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT). She is currently very active in the implementation of the Single European Sky and SESAR programmes. Anna is a legal advisor for the IBAA - Italian Business Aviation Association she also advises the Association in all the legal issues on financial and tax law aspects. She is on the board of the European Air Law Association (EALA), legal advisor in the IBAA’s board (Italian Business Aviation Association) and officer of the Aviation Committee of International Bar Association (IBA). She is a regular speaker at International seminars and conferences, in particular on the topic of airspace issues (Eurocontrol, ECAC, IBA, ICAO, EALA). She is the author of various books and numerous articles on Air and Space Law.
Pablo Mendes de Leon is a Professor of Air and Space Law and Director of the International Institute of Air and Space Law of Leiden University, which is one of the leading international scientific research and teaching institutes in the world, specialised in legal and policy issues regarding aviation and space activities. In addition to his duties as Director of the International Institute of Air and Space Law of Leiden University, Pablo Mendes de Leon maintains a vast range of memberships in organisations that work to combine law and practice of aviation law and policy. He is President of the European Air Law Association, Visiting Professor at the National University of Singapore and the University of Bordeaux, France. He is also a judge at the District Court of Haarle, Membre titulaire de l’académie de l’air et de l’espace, Toulouse, France, Member of the Dutch Aviation Accident Board, a Board Member of the magazines Air and Space Law, Journal of Air Law and Commerce and the Italian ANIA Insurance Newsletter and the Director of the Series of Publications in International Aviation law and Policy with Kluwer Law International. He is the author of a large number of publications on topical issues regarding aviation law and policy.
Laura Pierallini is the founder and name partner of the Italian aviation law firm Studio Pierallini.
She spent several years in the legal and tax department of Arthur Andersen and then she was the managing partner of the international law firm Coudert Brothers in Rome from 2001 to 2005.
She is a professor of Commercial Law and Director of the Executive Master in Air Transport Law at the LUISS School of Law of Rome.
Ms. Pierallini has practised aviation law since 1988, providing expert advice to clients across the whole of the international aviation sector, including aircraft finance and leasing, M&A, anti-trust and regulatory, litigation and dispute resolution, insolvency and restructuring, employment and corporate matters. Dr. Sipos is currently Aviation Advisor at the Aviation Division of HM EI Ltd. He served the HungaroControl (ANSP) in various positions such as Legal Director (2008- 2014). He was the Permanent Representative of Hungary on the Council of ICAO (2004–2007). He had worked at MALÉV Hungarian Airlines in various positions such as Flight Operation Officer and Legal Director (1989-2004). He studied international air and space law at the Leiden University, graduating with Master’s degree (2001-2002). He completed ELTE Doctoral School, graduating with PhD’s degree in 2018. He is Honorary Professor of ELTE University, Faculty of Law.
Prof. (Dr.) Sandeepa Bhat is working as a Professor of Law at National University ofJuridical Sciences (NUJS), Kolkata. He has more than seventeen years of teaching and research experience at National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore and NUJS, Kolkata. He has done his specialization in International Law and Business and Trade Law (LL.M.) with First Rank and double gold medal at University of Mysore. He had also secured Third Rank at Mangalore University during his LL.B. and top scored his college to receive the gold medal. His Ph.D. is in the field of Space Law. Dr. Bhat has the experience of researching on five Major Research Projects sponsored by World Bank, ISRO, the WB Judicial Academy, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. He has the distinction of being the member of International Institute of Space Law (IISL), Paris, France. Dr. Bhat is the founding Editor-in-Chief of the Asian Journal of Air and Space Law and is also associated with various other publications in different capacities. He has published three books on Space Law and three books on Medical Law. In addition, he has published more than forty five articles in the journals of international and national repute, which include Journal of Space Law (University of Mississippi), Annals of Air & Space Law (McGill University), Proceedings of Colloquium on Law of Outer Space (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics), Asia Pacific Journal of Health Law &; Ethics (Ewha University), Sri Lanka Journal of International Law (University of Colombo), Athens Journal of Law, Kathmandu School of Law Review and Asian Journal of Air and Space Law. He has presented more than seventy research papers in the international and national conferences including the coveted International Astronautical Congress, as well as in international conferences held at Jakarta, Seoul, Sharjah, Singapore and Changsha. Mr Rao is a Civil Engineering graduate from NIE, Mysore, and an M.E degree in Highway and Bridge Engg. from M.S. Univ. of Baroda. Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society, UK. He has over 45 years of experience in Airport Engineering in India and abroad. Overseas experience includes work in the Maldives, Nauru, Algeria, Mauritius, Guyana, Nepal, Seychelles and Singapore, besides Canada. He has been a former Chief of the Aerodromes and Ground Aids (AGA) Section, Air Navigation Bureau, ICAO, Montreal, Canada, responsible for Annex 14 to the Chicago Convention. He is also an ICAO Safety Oversight Auditor. Prior to his tenure as Chief/AGA, in ICAO HQ, he worked as ICAO-UNDP Aerodrome Engineer &; he has been the Chief Technical Advisor to the Director of Civil Aviation, Maldives. A freelance consultant since retiring from ICAO, he has worked as an ICAO expert to Seychelles, India, and Singapore. He also was the Airport Planning Engineer and Team Leader of the Asian Development Bank funded project of reviewing and upgrading the Master Plan of Kathmandu/Tribhuvan International Airport, Nepal. He is a visiting lecturer at the Singapore Aviation Academy.

He has teaching experience in India’s best law schools in the area of Air law. He has experience in various areas of airport operations and management. He has handled aviation related legal matter in various courts. He is a visiting faculty to The Centre for Air and Space Law, National Academy of Legal studies and research, (NALSAR) Hyderabad, India since 2009. He has worked as the guest lecturer for National Law School of India, Bangalore, India in 2016. He has 30 years of experience in various areas of aviation, including legal, operations, and maintenance. Mr. Raman has spent about 20 years in the aviation industry and had begun as a Cargo Service Agent with Royal Jordanian Airlines and ascended to qualify as an instructor. He was a visiting instructor at Delhi for Air Hostess Academy, Skyline Institute of Travel, Frankfinn institute, Travel Mate India and Maples Institute. In 2008, Mr. Raman joined Bird Academy as a full-time instructor till 2011 and then moved to Qatar Civil Aviation College at Doha till 2012. His expertise is in Aviation Law, Air Cargo basic. Air Cargo advanced. Cargo Rating, Dangerous Goods Regulations, Live Animal Regulations, Shipping temperature-controlled substances, Perishable Cargo Regulations, ULD handling, Carriage of Infectious Substances, Carriage of Radioactive Substances, International Maritime Dangerous Goods, Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Rail, Ramp handling safety and emergency response and Airport Operations (Flight Handling). His foremost achievements were in 2009 when he visited Kabul to conduct training for 350 airport personnel on aviation safety and security and in 2015 and conducted the first International Maritime Dangerous Goods training in the Sultanate of Oman. Presently, he is a senior instructor, facilitator and adviser and have been instrumental in advising the CAA of Sultanate of Oman on Dangerous Goods.
Dr George Leloudas is an Associate Professor at the Institute of International Shipping and Trade Law (IISTL) of Swansea University. He is an LLM graduate of the Institute of Air and Space Law of McGill University and he also completed his PhD degree at Cambridge University in 2009. George's principal research interest is the carriage of passengers and goods by air, but his interests extend to multimodal transport, insurance law and the regulation of autonomous transport systems. He has published two monographs, the first one on Risk and Liability in Air Law and the second one on Air Cargo Insurance with Professor Malcolm Clarke of Cambridge University. He is also one of the editors of the preeminent transport law publication, Shawcross and Beaumont on Air Law, being responsible for the (passenger and cargo) liability chapters.
