SEWING

The purpose of the Sewing club: Learn the basics of hand-sewing--how to sew on a button and repair a seam. Then, learn how to thread and use a sewing machine. Students will sew their choice of projects to include bowl cozies, plastic bag holders, aprons, placemats, and simple clothing items like shorts.
