JAZZ BAND

The WCMS Jazz Band is an after school ensemble available to any 7th or 8th grade band student. The group will learn the basics of jazz music including the swing, rock, funk, and Latin styles. We will also work on the basics of jazz improvisation. Students in jazz band will have the opportunity to participate in extra performances and honor bands. Members are expected to maintain positive behavior and strive for an advanced level of musicianship.
