Not enough graphing calculators to go around for your students? That is unfortunate. That brings us to Desmos and Geogebra. They have graphing calculators that work on laptops, phones, and tablets.

I spoke with an academic coach at a local school. She said that when that high school took their practice ACT the students used Desmos Graphing Calculator on the laptops. They had the students fold their laptops back into tablet form and lay them flat on the table. They could monitor to make sure they were only using the Desmos part.

There is a calculator app in Windows 10. If you click on the menu bar (3 lines) button, it can switch from Standard to Scientific, Programmer, Date Calculation, or one of many unit convertors.
