In this unit, students will read a variety of fictional stories told from different points of view and perspectives—both human and animal. They will build schema around the following concepts:
Literature
The narrator’s point of view influences what a reader knows and feels about the events of the story. Each point of view offers a different perspective on events.
Characters’ traits are revealed through their dialogue and actions.
Social Emotional Understanding
People’s or characters’ unique perspectives influence the way they understand others as well as events in the world around them.
