Dual Enrollment is a program that allows high school juniors and seniors to enroll in college-level courses. Upon earning a passing grade in the course, students earn both college AND high school credits.
NOTE: One-semester college course = one-semester high school course
Example: 3 hours of English 1010 = .5 high school English credits
Example: 5 hours of Math 1910 = .5 high school math credits
Students can enroll in DE courses that are offered by an MCHS instructor or a college-only instructor. MCHS works with a number of local colleges and universities to offer DE courses to students.
