2022-2023 is NEAR!
Reading is an essential part of this course. Reading should be informative, and even enjoyable as we explore topics, ideas, and emotions presented throughout a variety of texts in this course. Students are expected to read all assigned tasks, including agreed upon reading in books clubs according to the set reading schedules.
To succeed and excel in this class, students will need to read, critically think, take notes, review notes, and put in the work. Fake reading will lead to confusion, lack of comprehension, in some cases the inability to complete assignments, and may even lead to cheating on assignments. For the record cheating is NOT tolerated, and for more information on the consequences of cheating in this course refer to the Grading Policy.
