Data Access

CMB School Notebooks:

A set of pedogogical notebooks make up the core of the school. Before the school starts pleas install these by following these direcitons.


1) install Anaconda Python or a similar version of pythons 3.x with Jupiter Notebooks and standard libraries like Numpy and Matplotlib.

2) download the CMB School notebooks. (You can use Github commands, or the web interface to clone the repository)


ACT Data and Notebooks:

For day 2 and day 3 of the workshop we'll be working with actual data from ACT so it would be great if you could try to download the data and notebooks ahead of time. To do so please:


1) Download or clone the github repository that's here

2) Follow the instructions in the repository to download the ACT data and store it in the "data" folder in the repository.

3) Follow the instructions to set up the conda environment which will install all of the python packages you'll need to work with the ACT notebooks.



SPT Data:

For day 2 we will use some SPT data. This has been incorpreated in to the main CMB school Git repository. The SPT data products can be found on Lambda here.
