This is a picture of me hiking this past summer (2023) at Zion National Park in Utah. During my time hiking, I was reminded how aerobic and physically demanding hiking was. It was a way to exercise in a fun way while enjoying the beautiful outdoors. For many people, hiking (or taking a walk in the neighborhood) is a way to get exercise that is more enjoyable than just going to a gym. I encourage you and your family to give it a try even if it is a quick walk around the block! Your heart will thank you as you enjoy your time together by yourself or with those you choose to go with!

If your child does not have gym shoes on the day of their PE class, there is a very large possibility that they will have their experiences altered or will not be able to participate altogether for safety reasons.
GYM SHOES, GYM SHOES, GYM SHOES
Please make sure your child wears/brings gym shoes to school on the 3 days they have PE each week. In PE class, we are always talking about safety. There are many things that we can do to be safe in PE class. The first thing, and most important, is to wear gym shoes.
If there are circumstances that prevent your child from bringing gym shoes to school, please do not hesitate to reach out to me using the contact information at the bottom of this page.
Thank you so much for your continued support!
