What is the LIPHA Microcredential?
Using the same simulation, case-, and story-based software application, the Microcredential gives learners the opportunity to self-register for LIPHA at any time, gain access to evidence informed Ontario CLRI resources, and earn a Microcredential certificate to add to their CV, all within 8 hours and completely free of charge.
Upon completing the LIPHA Microcredential, learners will have:
Gained knowledge pertaining to age-related changes, dementia and responsive behaviours and their impact on care
Understand person-centric values and behaviours related to LTC practice
Become familiar with tools and frameworks relating to compassionate communication with residents and families
Developed the skills to take in regards to role-specific skills when considering older adults (i.e. observation, prioritization, and action)
