Meeting New People 认识新朋友

Since our club is small in size, members get to know each other in a short period of time. With regular meetings each week, we spend a considerable amount of time with other members. Hence, club members often become good friends with one another, especially if we have something in common: having interest in the club.

Our club will collaborate with JJC from other schools such as Chung Ling High School, Penang Chinese Girls High School, Union High School and Sacred Heart High School. So, it is also possible to meet new friends through organisation of the events. Besides, even ordinary members get the chance to hold a position in the organising committee due to the fact that our club is small!

由于我们的团体规模较小，成员们可以在很短的时间内相互认识。由于每个星期都有例常活动，我们花了大量时间与其他成员在一起。因此，团员之间往往会成为好朋友，特别是如果我们有共同点：对团体的兴趣。

我们的团体将与来自其他学校的 JJC 合作，例如锺灵中学、槟华女子中学、协和中学和圣心中学。因此，也可以通过组织活动结识新朋友。另外，由于我们团体很小，即使是普通会员也有机会在筹委会任职！

Learning new skills 学习新技能

All members of the club contribute to the group. Your job may be something you are already great at or it may be something you have no experience with. Either way, there is always something to learn. Some specific skills have been how to give a speech, how to understand people better, and the rules of debate. With our vision of 'young active citizen', we involve in a range of activities, from community service to exchange programs. 

团体的所有成员都会做出贡献。你的工作可能是你已经擅长的工作，也可能是你没有经验的工作。无论哪种方式，总有一些东西要学习。一些具体的技巧包括: 如何发表演讲、如何更好地理解他人以及辩论规则。凭借我们“年轻的积极公民”的愿景，我们参与了一系列活动，从社区服务到交流计划。

Gaining experience 吸取经验

If you join a club that is similar to the career you wish to pursue, the specific skills you learn will not only help you thrive in that career, but will also look great on a resume! Because JJC and JCI are often related to the UNESCO and UN, it would be a great idea for people who care about the world's development and wanting to make a change to join us!  

如果你加入一个与你希望从事的职业相似的团体，你学到的特定技能不仅会帮助你在该职业中茁壮成长，而且在简历上也会看起来很棒！因为JJC和JCI往往与UNESCO和UN有关，所以对于关心世界发展并希望做出改变的人加入我们将是一个很好的选择！

Improving confidence 增加自信

It takes bravery to join a club. You’ll soon find that you fit in and get along with other members because of a common interest and there won't be any sudden exposure to large group of strangers in our club, given the fact that we are only a small one. The more you practice your role in the club, the better you’ll be at it. Usually, the more time you spend in a club, the more comfortable and confident you’ll be. 

Then after that, you might be considering a larger club. That's totally advisable, because people always improve only when they face a challenge! So, if you are still at the beginning stage, feel free to join us!

加入任何一个团体都需要勇气。你很快就会发现，你会因为共同的兴趣与其他成员相处融洽，而且不会突然接触到一大群陌生人，因为我们只是一个小团体。你在团体中发挥得越多，你就会做得越好。通常，你在团体度过的时间越多，你就越舒适和自信。

在那之后，你可能会考虑一个更大的学会。这是完全可取的，因为人们只有在面临挑战时才会进步！所以，如果你还处于起步阶段，请随时加入我们！
