Join the Room Parent Team!

Help support your child’s classroom and school by being a part of the Room Parent team. Your help is needed and greatly appreciated to make this a fun and memorable school year. Each class at Riverview will have a room parent team.

* The Room Parent Team is a group of parent volunteers that work with the PTC, the classroom teacher, and the parents of the class.

* Responsibilities of the Room Parent Team include: working with the classroom teacher to plan class parties (Bountiful Bash, Valentine’s Day, etc.), help with PTC events by communicating with parents about upcoming events and parties and the volunteer needs of the PTC, including the Carnival and snack bar.

Room Parent Team:

* CONTACT PERSON: will be the communication contact for the room parent team. The contact person is not the chair or in-charge of the team. The team works together to co-ordinate the needs of the teacher, PTC and school.

* ROOM PARENT TEAM MEMBER: is part of the room parent team and assist the team in planning and executing the needs of the teacher, PTC and school. See above for the responsibilities of the room parent team.
