My name is Shanna Tovar and this is my 17h year teaching. I've had the privilege to teach in different cities near here and on top of that, I've spent 4 years as a Vice Principal in a local charter school.  I have 2 credentials: a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an Administrative Services Credential.  Fun fact about me is that I've taught almost all the elementary grades, Kindergarten through 6th grade (with the exception of 2nd grade), so I'm super excited to be doing 1st grade again, but finally at Boris Elementary this year!  Last year I taught 6th grade here at Boris as well and we had a great year!

My husband is also an educator for Clovis Unified and a former Vice Principal/GIS.  We have 4 children (2 girls and 2 boys), all of which were Boris Chargers!  My youngest is still attending Boris and is in 5th grade this year. =)  We also are big animal lovers; we have 2 Golden Retrievers, and one adopted neighborhood cat.
