About Me

I have been a part of the CUSD family for 37 years, first as a parent and then as an employee. I have been teaching in CUSD for 30 years.   I have been at Alta Sierra for 29 years.  I LOVE my family, my job and my school!  

My four adult children all attended school in CUSD and seven of my grandchildren are or will be Clovis Unified students.  My daughter is also a teacher at Tarpey Elementary; teaching runs in the family, I guess!

I am privileged to teach HonorsAB8 for the seventh year.  

In my free time, I like to travel, read, cook, and spend time with my four grown children and their children.  

I am looking forward to meeting all of you and to a great year on the ASI campus.  

Please know that grace and patience with one another are always important elements of our school-year journey.  Welcome back!
