Hi! I'm Mrs. Mayfield! I am so excited to be your child's teacher for the 2024-2025 school year! I grew up here in Clovis and attended Clovis Unified schools for Kindergarten through 12th grade. I have known that I wanted to teach since I was a 3rd grader in elementary school, so my dreams come true every day that I am a teacher! I have worked right down the street at Miramonte Elementary for 7 years. I have taught 1st and 3rd grade there! I coach cheer here at Hirayama and look forward to rooting on our HEAT athletes during our upcoming sports seasons!

I married my high school sweetheart, Cole, in December 2023. We are celebrating 10 years together in December. We have the cutest weenie dog ever, Bella! I love Disneyland and all things Pixar. My favorite sport is baseball and I am a Giants fan! My favorite drink is Dr. Pepper and my favorite food is pizza!

I am looking forward to creating a nurturing and exciting learning environment for your child. Being part of something new is challenging, but always so rewarding! Thank you in advance for your flexibility this year! We will overcome challenges as a strong community! 

I look forward to meeting you at Back to School Night on Thursday, August 15th. The first day of school will be Monday, August 19th! On the first day we will be getting to know each other and building relationships. It is going to be a great school year, together as a team it will be amazing! Let this fun year begin!
