About Me

My name is Julie McGough, but sometimes I am known as Ms. Frizzle! I have been married for 27 years to "Mr. Magoo" and have two amazing sons. My husband is the Aquatics Director for Clovis Unified and the Head Coach of Clovis Swim Club. I earned my PhD in Science Education through the University of Nebraska in Lincoln in December, 2019.

You may hear my southern accent come out at times and you may even hear me say "ya'll". That is because I grew up in Birmingham, AL and lived in Texas for eight years. Since marrying my husband I lived and taught in Fort Smith, AR, Gainesville, FL, San Antonio, TX, Grapevine, TX and now Fresno, CA.

I love every minute that I spend with the children that enter my classroom. I am inspired by a young child's curiosity and sense of wonder. It is my goal to keep that sense of wonder alive and help each individual recognize their strengths and learn something new every day!
