About Me

This will be my 18 year teaching PE in Clovis Unified. I taught 8 years at Buchanan High School. I had the pleasure of teaching a couple sport classes, cross-age tutoring, and core 9/10 classes. This school year will be my 10th year at Alta Sierra. I coach the 7th Varsity girls and boys volleyball programs. I have loved teaching and being apart of PE. I enjoy making PE a fun environment, while teaching the skills and healthy life fitness options.

I have 3 beautiful daughters named Madison (11), Sidney (9) and Avery (8). Maybe sometime throughout the school year you will be able to see them or meet them. :) I am married to my husband Matt, going on 13 years. Since there are so many girls in the house, we made sure that we had some boy dogs to help. I have Victorian Bulldog- Buster and a Husky/Great Pyrenees- Hunter. 

I am a Buchanan alumni, graduating in 2000. I was a four sport athlete while attending BHS. I played volleyball, basketball, soccer and ran track.  From there I went on to Reedley Community College where I played basketball for 2 years before receiving a full ride scholarship for a Div. 2 school. I played for Metro State in Denver, Colorado. Loved being in Colorado for 5 years before I moved back home to obtain my teaching credential.
