Homework

Any changes during the week will be updated on the student planner by your child. Classwork not completed during the time allotted becomes homework. Some class projects may need additional time and attention at home. Studying for upcoming learning checks should be done regularly. For example, I recommend students take home their Academic Opener booklets (Daily math and language) to review each night. New academic vocabulary words are given approximately every two weeks. We review them, use them, and search for them often before the two week learning check, however students are encouraged to study them on their own.
