Use the resources here and on the Student page to help guide your classes in successfully building their digital portfolio. This information is only a guide and students can build beyond these ideas as they develop agency for representing themselves as developing learners. Ecourage students to develop their portfolios reflecting learning both in school as well as outside of school. Students begin to recognize the skill of life long learning as they see it in practice both in and out of the classroom.

Build site shell or grade level page, and begin adding content to the "About Me" and "Learner Profile" pages.
Think about the curriculum projects you had students complete in quarter 1. Have students add these projects or pictures to the portfolio. Have them share written information to explain their growth over this quarter.
Help students re-evaluate challenges and goals from 1st quarter and set new goals for 2nd quarter.
Students build agency through thinking about their growth as a learner. This is powerful for the growth process. Help you student this from the beginning of the year till now. Think about each subject especially the areas where you've seen growth and have overcome challenges. Take time to write about the challenges and growth you've experienced.
Students can also think about their learning growth outside of school.
Help student set new goals for quarter 3 especially considering those areas they're struggling with. Challenge them to think about what they can do to overcome these challenges.
Think about any projects you've had student complete throughout 2nd quarter and post this work on your portfolio.
