New Students

When a student enrolls in the district, it can take 24-48 hours for the sync from PowerSchool to occur that will create their account in Canvas. If they still can’t get logged in by day 3 of enrollment, please have them email chshelpdesk@clover.k12.sc.us. 

Lockdown Browser

If you use the Lockdown Browser for assessments in Canvas your students will need to download the latest version from Self Service while connected to Enterprise WiFi.

• For Classic Quizzes: students open the LockDown browser first and login to their account to navigate to their quiz.

• For New Quizzes: students begin using Canvas in their regular browser and LockDown browser will automatically launch when the exam begins.

Can't Export New Quizzes to Commons

Unfortunately, you can’t copy new quizzes to commons (poor design on the part of Canvas). To share it: click the 3 dots beside the quiz title, select "send to" and enter the name of the person you wish to share it with.
