The popular Kickstart online workshops are designed for educators and office staff who are new to Google Workspace or need to upskill for their school.
Each workshop runs over two 2.5-hour sessions on weekday afternoons in January, depending on interest. If your school is interested in running a one-day event, like on a Saturday, reach out to us at karien@cloudedu.co.za.

This track is designed for educators and office staff who are brand new to Google Workspace or need a refresher of the basics. Apps covered will be Gmail, Drive, Docs, and Forms. Participants learn:
Essential Gmail settings
Organising Email with labels and your Drive
Collaboration in Docs
Using Building Blocks
Suggested edits & comments for learner feedback
Creating Forms
Throughout, participants will use Google Classroom as students and become familiar with its basic functionality.
This track is for educators who have previously used Google Workspace apps, but who need a refresher or wish to expand their skill set. Topics covered include:
Advanced tools in Docs (e.g. manipulating images, adding fonts, using text styles, and more!)
Advanced sharing settings in Drive and Docs
Setting up Forms for self-marking quizzes
What’s new in Classroom and prepping for the new school year
Intro to Google Vids
Confirmed dates for 2027
