The research group is headed by Prof. Dr. Zahoor Ul Hussain Awan as Principle Investigator. Prof. Dr. Zahoor ul Hussain Awan is the Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Process Engineering and the Chairperson of the Department of Food Engineering. He serves as a Full Professor at NED University. Dr. Zahoor has a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology. Dr. Zahoor completed his Ph.D. from Chonkbuk National University, South Korea on the Faculty Development program in the year 2014 with a research focus on metal-air batteries. Dr. Zahoor joined NED University in the year 2008 as Lecturer and was later promoted to the ranks of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Professor.
