Facilities
Potentiostat
This equipment is fundamental to modern electrochemical studies using three electrode systems for investigations of reaction mechanisms related to redox chemistry and other chemical phenomena.
Battery Tester
This coin cell tester system provides most applications in battery testing fields such as electrode materials research, battery performance test, small scale battery formation, capability grading, battery pack testing, etc.
Ball Mill
For grinding, blending, and sometimes for mixing of materials. The ball mill works on the principle of impact and attrition: the size reduction is done by impact as the balls drop from near the top of the shell.
Glovebox
A sealed container for the manipulation of objects in a controlled environment where a high level of precision and safety is required. We use glove box in our lab to protect our people from hazardous materials and also to protect chemicals and materials that may be sensitive to air or water vapor.
High-Temperature Inert Atmosphere Furnace
Our muffle furnace is capable to heat materials to high temperatures of 1600 oC in a controlled environment.
Centrifuge
Our centrifuge can serve in order to separate different components of a sample based on their densities
Tube Furnace
A tube furnace is an electric heating device used to conduct syntheses and purifications of inorganic compounds and occasionally in organic synthesis. One possible design consists of a cylindrical cavity surrounded by heating coils that are embedded in a thermally insulating matrix.
Autoclave Reactor
The autoclave reactor is a small cylindrical reactor, built to withstand high pressures, used to evaluate the kinetics of high-temperature, high-pressure reactions and the production of small quantities of specialty chemicals.
Rotary evaporator
A rotary evaporator is a device used in chemical laboratories for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents from samples by evaporation.
