Scholarship: "The influence of GREAT THINKERS on Religion" There are so many different approaches you could take. First brainstorm all the ways a great thinker has influenced religion and then look at the big ideas that could be examined in any tradition. Students will need to have a detailed knowledge of their thinker, so they are prepared to discuss different aspects of their theology/ thinking etc.

The exam question is going to be broad because it must pertain to many religious traditions. But you could explore their influence in the area of ethics or justice or interpretation of a sacred text or understanding of life after death or how to live a virtuous life . . . . ..
