December 2025 Update
The Student Well-Being Team Family Support Workers will have a few new offerings in the coming days and months. All are open for anyone to attend and do not need a referral so please feel free to share with any families you feel may benefit. I’ve attached a poster for each of the events and there are quick descriptions below.
On Friday January 2nd 2026, from 11am-1pm, we are doing a Family Support Virtual Drop-In where families can log on to get immediate support and build skills to promote positive parenting and healthy relationships between family members. We can discuss anything parenting related such as routines, aggression, boundaries, emotional regulation, social skills or any family-related support or referrals. Families can sign up for a timeslot using the link on the poster.
On Thursdays beginning January 15th to February 12th 2026, from 12:00-2:00pm at Summerside Intermediate School (247 Central Street), we are offering a Circle of Security Parenting Group. This is an attachment-based program that helps parents identify the needs behind the behaviors that we see, as well as reflect on how their parenting is impacted by how they were parented. Registration is required for this group. Families can register by accessing the link on the poster.
Please feel free to reach out with any questions or for help registering for one or more of these events.
Happy Holidays!
