Foundational Learning: Number Outcome 9 (Grade 6) By the end of grade 6, students will be able to explain and apply the order of operations, excluding exponents, with and without technology.
Foundational Learning: Number Outcome 7 By the end of grade 7, students will be able to put positive numbers, decimals, and whole numbers in order (ascending and descending).
Foundational Learning: Statistics & Probability Outcome 4 By the end of grade 7, students will be able to express probabilities as ratios, fractions, and percents.
Foundational Learning: Shape & Space Outcome 1 By the end of grade 7, students will be able to understand circles and be able to:
>show how radius, diameter and circumference are all related to one another;
>show how circumference and π are related to each other;
>figure out the total of all the central angles of a circle added together;
>make a circle that has a specific radius or diameter (with and without a compass);
>solve math problems that involve radii, diameters, and circumferences of circles.
Foundational Learning: Shape & Space Outcome 2 By the end of grade 7, students will be able to make and use formulas to find areas for the following: triangles, parallelograms, and circles.
