Letter

Hello,

I want to send home small note in regards to Dr. Morrison’s recent briefing. Dr. Morrison suggested that there would be a decision around school start up prior to a return on January 4th. This statement was made from the perspective of Public Health and was related to our current realities.

As it stands right now, the Public Schools Branch is prepare for the resumption of in class learning on the 4th of January. However, as we have grown accustomed to, things may change. Regardless of changes, I want to assure you that there will be NO EXPECTATION for remote learning to begin January 4th.

We have been encouraged to send home a few essential items for the children in the event that we move to remote learning. Please do not open this bag unless we make the shift to online learning; these materials are very important to our Kindergarten learning, and we do not have replacements. My hope is that you send the bag back January 4th with your child.

Thank you for your support at this very uncertain time. Please try and enjoy your holidays. If I can provide you any ease, I certainly will try my best. If we move to remote learning, please know that I will do my very best to provide your child with the education they deserve.
