My name is Erin Pilling, and I am very excited to be your child’s teacher until February, while Mrs. Jenny Clark is on maternity leave! In February, I will be working closely with Mrs. Clark to ensure a smooth transition in the classroom. Our goal is to make this school year a seamless, fun, and supportive experience for all of our students.
Kindergarten is a year filled with big milestones, new friendships, and hands-on learning. On this website, you will find regular updates on what we are learning in the classroom, important calendar dates, and helpful reminders to keep us connected. I am so excited to get to know you and your child over the upcoming months.

My name is Erin Pilling and I am very excited to be your child's teacher for the first half of the school year, while Mrs. Clark is on maternity leave!
I am originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, but have called Prince Edward Island "home" since 2017! I currently live in Cornwall with my husband, Bryson.
This is my second year teaching at L.M Montgomery Elementary School. Prior to teaching at L.M, I worked in community-based education, where I ran play-based and arts-based literacy and numeracy programs for children and families across Prince Edward Island.
My approach to teaching is strongly rooted in play and art. I try to create opportunities for all children to be involved and excited in their learning journey.
