Families are encouraged to listen to their child read their book each evening. Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday are books of my choice. On Thursday, students may choose a book from my library. If it is too challenging for your child, read it to them. Note: This is not meant to be a battle. It is "Home Practice," not "Home Work." There is nothing wrong with sharing the book (you read a page and they read a page) or reading it to them.
Families are encouraged to work on the home support booklets that are sent home from time to time. This an intense spelling program and any support you can give your student would be beneficial.
