The following is an example of what a typical daily routine in KE consists of. Our specialty classes switch back and for and are at different times each day, some in the morning and some in the afternoon. Therefor, as does our daily schedule.

8:00- 8:30 am Students arrive, morning jobs, breakfast

8:30- 8:45 am Attendance, announcements

8:45- 9:05 am Morning table centres/ open play

9:10- 9:40 am Music

9:45 - 10:00 am Snack

10:00- 10:30 am Routine au tapis- Carpet time
- Chef jobs( helper of the day helps lead activities specific to kindergarten curriculum outcomes)
- Numbers (0-10), Alphabet, Weather, Question of the day, Morning message

10:30 - 10:45 am Mini lesson and activity ( literacy/numeracy)

10:45 - 11:00 am Tidy up/ prepare for outside

11:00 - 11:30 am Recess

11:30 am - 12:00 pm Lunch

12:00 - 12:15 pm Quiet reading ( independant and partner)

12:15 - 1:00 pm Read aloud with follow up up mini lesson and activity ( numeracy/ literacy)

1:00 - 1:55 pm Afternoon centres

1:55- 2:15 pm Tidy up/ prepare for home

2:20 pm Kindergarten dismissal
