Remember: kindergarten is delivered via play based learning. If your child is playing, they are learning! Create, imagine, question.
First things first...
We are all in this together! If at any time home learning feels overwhelming or difficult, here are some go tos that your children can always work on:
tying shoes
sorting coins by type
telling time/learning about an analog clock
dressing/undressing to go outdoors
making their own lunch
practice packing and unpacking their school bag
reading a book/being read to
folding laundry
sweeping the floor
making their bed
patience - making them sit and wait. For anything! Patience is a tough one.
talking with their family
scissor skills
spreading kindness with a sweet phone call to someone
Students can click below to join our Google Meet each morning. They may need to be logged in to their Google account. When they join, please ensure that their microphone is turned off until I ask them to turn it on.
Google Meets will take place at 9:30am.
