The class will take part in a calm writing activity. Once they have their idea they will write 2-3 sentences stating what they are grateful/thankful for and explain why. This activity will not be an edited piece, the focus is on learning what gratitude/thankful means and not editing for known writing strategies. You are welcome to practice at home and join in, adults needs practice too! By watching you they are learning the importance of gratitude from you.
