What is the mission of Tech Medics Omaha?
Our mission is to meet the technology support needs of small businesses and individuals through onsite service.
We reduce the stress and time associated with choosing and implementing phone services, wireless networks and other technologies necessary for doing business. We learn what is important to our clients, inform them of available options, and then implement the selected solutions.
Why did you start Tech Medics Omaha?
I enjoy solving problems. I started Tech Medics Omaha based on my experiences as an IT professional, including the lead technology role at three private universities over a period of more than 20 years.
Where did the “Because everybody needs a techie” slogan originate?
The “everybody needs a techie” slogan came from my mom. In addition to being a technology professional for more than 20 years, I have also been the techie for both sides of my extended family for decades. Nearly every holiday included working on family member’s computers or teaching family members how to accomplish something using their computers or phones. Often when I helped my mom with a tech challenge, she would comment that “Everybody needs a techie.” Unfortunately, not every family has a techie.
