Hello EMMS Family!

My name is Anastasia Chuca and I am the Director of Bands at East Montana Middle School.

I am 2013 UTEP Graduate with a Major in Music and a Minor in Education.

I have proudly worked at EMMS for 8 years, going on 9!

I have played in the El Paso Wind Symphony in 2013-2017 and have performed with the UTEP Marching Miners and with the DCI Open Class Group Revolution from San Antonio, TX throughout my college years.

Throughout my years of teaching at EMMS, we have been able to achieve several 1st Division Ratings in both Concert & Sightreading.

Our 2021-2022 Honor/Symphonic Band students were one of only two middle school groups within our community to achieve Sweepstakes in Concert & Sightreading.

I look forward to a wonderful year as your scholar's band director!
