Grading
Students can access all assignments in Google Classroom.
Grades are recorded as a zero (0) in Skyward until the assignment is submitted.
Each assignment has a listed due date. Assignments are expected to be submitted by the due date.
A student has seven (7) calendar days past the due date to submit a written assignment with no penalty.
Special consideration to submit a written assignment after seven (7) days will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
To request special consideration, the student must open the assignment in Google Classroom and post a private comment explaining the reason for special consideration.
The teacher will review the request and determine if special consideration is warranted.
The teacher’s decision is final.
Most written assignments turned in with a score less than 70 may be redone by using the redo link left with the score in Google Classroom.
Students who have not completed an assignment are sent a reminder email with directions for submitting the assignment.
Performance Assignments
The minimum score for a performance assignment submitted on time is 70.
The maximum score for a performance assignment submitted late is 70.
