Plant the Promise Garden
Our 7th and 8th graders helped prepare a section of our courtyard to create a garden for our 6th graders. Then, each of our 6th grade students participated in planting tulips in our courtyard for Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon Week is a national effort in which we raise awareness in the community about drug abuse. Our initiative "Plant the Promise" was a wonderful way to celebrate Red Ribbon Week. Students planted red flower bulbs, which bloomed in the Spring and served as a reminder of the importance and the beauty of a drug free life.
In the digital age, online drug dealing poses a significant threat. Our resource provides essential tools to safeguard children, including the "Emoji code" to identify online drug dealing, insights into the Dark web, and online safety measures.
