Hello WWMS! My name is Ms. Tunnell and I am so excited to be a part of your WWMS journey! I have been a School Counselor for the last 10 years, 9 of those years having been right here in Clifton. When I am not in office, you can find me on the Cheer Mat or at the Football Stadium as I am one of the Cheer Coaches at Clifton High School! Some of my favorite things to do include: Cooking, reading, going to the beach/lake and trying new restaurants and coffee shops with my friends!
I am looking forward to an exciting and rewarding school year filled with growth, learning and meaningful connections.
If you have any questions or concerns please contact me at ltunnell@cliftonschools.net.
My name is Alanna Lesnevec and I am so excited to be joining the Woodrow Wilson Counseling Department and family! This is my 8th year as a middle school counselor in Clifton Public Schools. One of the most rewarding parts of my role is helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally throughout their middle school years. I love building meaningful, lasting relationships with my students and their families and supporting them as they gain confidence, overcome challenges, and discover their strengths.
Middle school is a time of tremendous growth, and I feel fortunate to be part of each student's journey. My goal is to create a supportive, caring environment where every student feels seen, heard, and empowered to succeed.
Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, spending time at the beach, and making memories with my husband and our two young children.
Please feel free to reach out to me at alesnevec@cliftonschools.net
I have been a counselor in Clifton Schools for 22 years, 18 of which have been at Woodrow Wilson Middle School. I have truly enjoyed working with students from 6th through 8th grade. I absolutely love watching them grow, both physically and emotionally, as they progress through middle school. I work with students, both individually and in small groups, focusing on all different areas, such as conflict resolution, setting academic goals and many other issues that middle school students face.
I also work closely with teachers, parents, administration and the nurses to ensure that every student is reaching his or her full potential.
Please feel free to contact me anytime at mwalsh@cliftonschools.net.
I am one of the Student Assistance Coordinator (SAC) counselors here at WWMS. Although I meet with students for a variety of reasons, I work with students who express that they are having a particularly difficult time coping with their emotions and/or current situation. I run themed counseling groups and hold one on one sessions.
In addition to collaborating with administration and staff, I help connect families with community resources pending their needs and requests. Along with Ms. Amaniera, we develop the drug and alcohol education for the school community and offer confidential support for families.
Please feel free to email me if you have any questions or concerns at dfarkas@cliftonschools.net.
This is my fourth year working with Clifton students. I work with Mrs. Farkas to support any student with mental and emotional needs.
My primary focus is to help students become the best version of themselves and provide them with the support they need in and outside of the school.
