CERT Training

As a member of the MCJROTC program, cadets have the opportunity to become CERT certified. 

Through vehicles such as the CERT program, the Sheriff's Office has taken the plan a step further in training volunteer citizens of Passaic County in needed life-saving skills, with emphasis on decision-making skills, rescuer safety and doing the greatest good for the greatest number. Hence, those who become certified CERT members are an extension of first responder services with the ability to offer immediate help to victims until professional services arrive.
