Episode 1  

I would just like to take this opportunity in welcoming all the new children into Usher and Sutcliffe Houses. We look forward to an incredible year ahead.  

A special welcome goes out to our four new interns who have become part of our family - Justin Kufal and Nick Ross into Usher House, and Morghan Flanagan and Nicole Houart into Sutcliffe House.  

This past weekend was truly amazing, filled with lots of activities and excitement.  

After the open boys and girls had finished sports trials, it was lunch and then the real fun began. We enjoyed games such as jackpot, donkey, tree cricket (an all-time favourite), a fashion pageant and then the karaoke machine was out, the dancing was endless. A huge bonfire and roasted marshmallows at the Lapha ended off the day, leaving the children happily exhausted. There was a movie night planned, but there were curled up little bodies in the common rooms.  

On Sunday morning after a delightful brunch, the children set off on an adventurous exploration of the campus on an out-and-about programme. Dress ups, hair dos, clay faces, fairy gardens was all part of the fun. The day ended with a refreshing cool off at the pool.   

Reminder   

• Please remember to add the family link to your children’s cell phones to help monitor their cell phone usage.  

• We are going to be, from time to time, checking randomly, what the children are accessing.  

• Please bear in mind that half term is not that far away (start preparing travel arrangements)
