Year 10 Computer Science
In Year 10, pupils will have the opportunity to explore Python in more depth. There is a wide variety of material available on the internet to help with this.
All pupils must complete the CodeCademy course in Python available here: https://www.codecademy.com/learn/learn-python
Pupils should also undertake the Snakify course in January of Year 10: https://snakify.org/en/
All pupils complete their Controlled Assessment (NEA) in the Spring Term of Year 10, with the rest of the focus being on digital workbooks covering most of the Paper 1 work in the course.
Year 11 Computer Science
Pupils in Year 11 study the remaining Paper 1 and Paper 2 workbooks, completing the main study period of the course by February of Year 11. Pupils will use the remaining lessons to revise, with past papers and learning resources provided in lesson.
