Special Education 

Students attending the collaborative settings for English 9, 11, 12, and Biology engage in the general education curriculum.  For  special education students, the course materials, pacing and rigor are maintained in the general ed classroom, with modifications, as indicated in the studentś IEP.

I have also implemented SEL (Social Emotional Learning) competency development, as part of the collaborative classroom instructional delivery.   A growth mindset, mindful breathing and meditation are included.  This helps to improve focus, decrease anxiety and improve a sense of well-being.
