Mr. Klie's Science Class

Attention:

Parent Visitation Night 9/16 @6:00 PM!!!

Welcome back to School Students and Parents!

As we have all gone through hardship during the pandemic, some more than others, we are slowly drifting our way back to normal life as we once knew it. Some damages may not be repaired but we can look to future with optimism and hope that we will soon be returning to the "old normal" way of life.

I encourage those Parents who can, and are willing, to come to back to school night! Although technological advances have given us the opportunity to have social interactions virtually, nothing quite says welcome back like an in-person back to school night!

Please look to the schools website for the registration form to attend!

About Me

I am a Physics and Biology Teacher at Cliffside Park High School. I obtained my Bachelor's Degree at Rutgers University in the field of Marine Biology. After Rutgers, I worked at the New Jersey Aquaculture Innovation Center performing several tests and experiments to increase the yield of viable and edible shellfish quantities for consumer products. While successful, I decided to head back to school and obtain my Master's Degree in the art of teaching, with a focus on science education. Through the NJCTL, I am adding the Certificate of Physics to my teaching craft. I believe all student possess the ability to learn science, and hope to increase and peak student interest in the field of Science. With STEAM careers being in high need, students entering the field will be able to open many doors to their post high school lives.
